    After a great previous experience with Chris and the team installing interior oak doors for us we contracted Chris again for a Garage Conversion project and to build a bespoke loft hatch. They excelled again, great workmanship by the team and finish. The garage conversion included: Full stud work to celling hight, sound slab acoustic insulation infill + acoustic plaster boarding (sound proofing), plastering, electrics and final paint finish. Great work, looking forward to using Chris and the team on future projects. Highly recommended.

Hello! My name is Chris Lyle and I have been a fully qualified carpenter for twelve years. At Chris Lyle Carpentry, we take immense pride in our professional, tailored approach to each and every job we undertake.  

I began my career on a year’s foundation course at Oakland's Colleges, moving on to a two-year apprenticeship with a small local business. I committed to working for them for just over six years in total, maintaining a great working relationship with them still and even helping do the odd job now and again. It was here that I was given the time and encouragement to hone my craft and learn to become the adaptable tradesman that I am  

For the last four years, CLC has been going from strength to strength. The business prides on its local work, as well as travelling further afield; often in London. We undertake a wide variety including, but not limited to:
