  • Coal cellar/bathroom conversion

    Mike and team have done a great job on the former coal cellar on our North London Victorian terrace basement flat. Our postcode area is vulnerable to flooding and Mike was very careful to ensure the new bathroom were secure against this danger. Mike took responsibility for all project management and liaised with architects, surveyors, planning, contractors- you name it! Needless to say we are delighted with the results and can I look forward to a long happy marriage with my wife now that we no longer share a bathroom.

    Mike and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with from the moment we first made contact. From our first discussion of the project over a cuppa, to a fair and reasonable quotation. Through to the project itself, which was endangered by permission issues and suffered many forced changes that Mike accepted with a smile and a “No problem!” The construction has been first class, Mike’s refusal to cut a single corner has definitely showed through in the final product. We couldn’t be happier to be back in our ‘New’ flat and would recommend the services of Mike and his team wholeheartedly.

  • Set up a roof terrace

    The builder did not contact Buildings regulations at the local authority. I contacted them after the work was complete and they asked for evidence of the joist. I contacted the builder who has continually said, since Sept 2021, that he will come, uncover the roof, and take a photograph of the joist. He keeps on promising he will come but he never does.

    It was a pleasure to work with Mike and his team who have done a great job installing new steel stairs in our property. Despite some challenging setbacks including COVID and extremely difficult stakeholders, Mike impressed us with his enthusiasm to get the work done and his patience where others would have walked away. In addition, where we had questions or concerns, Mike always took them seriously and helped solve problems, drawing upon his extensive experience.

We are a small building business based in North London and have been trading since 1972. We cover the whole of London and the outskirts. We specialise in all aspects of building work including all types of insurance works, complete bathroom and kitchen refurbishments, floor laying and steelworks minor or major as a complete package if required from quotation to completion no matter how large or small your project is with a fixed time scale.

If you just want to discuss your project or need advice on what you can do and how it can be done please contact us there is no cost for this. If your project is in trouble or for whatever reason your contractor has left you with an unfinished project we can advise you and try and help you find a way to complete it as economically as possible for a fixed cost.
