  • To fix issues with Extractor Fan

    After receiving leaflet, called up as has faulty extractor fan in kitchen. Someone came 13/3/24 to cost of £104 to say the fan was faulty and would come back with a price. When they got back it was £170 for work to be done. Came on 11/04/24 fitted the fan and said it was not the fan but a faulty switch and not to touch anything until they returned. They came back with price of £250 for the switch, I wasn't happy with the price and was told someone would call but never did. I then got local electrician to look at the work and just needed to be plugged in. It's now working.

    I contacted City Appliance Repairs regarding my faulty oven for my tenants in Kensington and Chelsea. I was treated extremely professionally, well above my expectations due to my previous bad experiences with repair companies. I was sent an invoice for my repair before the visit and an invoice for the parts that was fitted with my approval after a thorough and detailed diagnostics. The oven was fixed and functioning to manufacturer specifications and my tenants were extremely happy. I paid below other quotes from other companies and I am extremely happy with the repair and overall service.

    City Appliance Repairs contacted me regarding my washing machine repair. They were extremely professional and went to the property based in Central London, diagnosed and fitted all my parts, all below the price I was quoted from other companies and alongside clear and precise pricing. They diagnosed, fitted the parts and made sure the machine was in perfectly functioning order, ready for my tenants to use. I was given an invoice before the visit for the labour, call-out and diagnostics alongside an invoice for the parts that was required. I would definitely recommend this company to everyone.

    Company quotes a low price, then very nicely explain that they no longer accept payment from landlords as some don't pay promptly. They explain that payment needs to be made on the day, so it has to be the tenant that pays. They then go to the job, triple the price, and charge the tenant,
