  David was obliging and helpful from the very beginning, visiting the property to see what needed to be done and gave sound advice and a quick, comprehensive quote. His communication throughout was brilliant - giving me updates on timing. His decorator John was incredibly professional, good communication and impeccably clean and tidy throughout my home, no complaints whatsoever. The end product was done to a high quality, on time and for a good price. I was very happy with the service and would highly recommend.

  I can't recommend David more highly. He is an honest, thorough professional. In assessing the job he pointed out the parts of the guttering needed to be replaced and quoted a reasonable price. He also repaired a section of loose pointing. Tidy, on time and pro-active.

• Exterior decoration of windows and doors

  I've used CLDB last year for an extensive amount of internal decoration. So this year I decided to hire them again to paint the exterior of several windows (including the repair of rotting sash window horns) and French doors at the rear of my house, which required a scaffold. The boss David did the initial assessment of the work required, provided a quote at a reasonable price and an indicative start date. The work started close to the original targeted date. The decorator was Matthew who did a very nice job, showed up promptly every day and responded well to any queries I had.

  I was very pleased by the work done by Luis and his son. They completely redecorated my flat; painting the walls, ceilings and all the woodwork, including inside all the cupboards, repairing cracks and dealing with the after effects of water damage. All done whilst I was living there. They were extremely tidy, quiet and considerate and the quality of their work was impeccable. They even did a couple of small extra jobs for me. All communication with David, from asking for an initial quote right through to the end of the job, was always prompt and trouble free. Highly recommended.
