• Roof Leak

  CNEM carried out work in Feb 23 on a roof leak stating they would return if still leaking. The leak was not fixed (even after a further quick fix attempt by them). We were told in Dec. they could not attend until at earliest 2nd week in Jan but we could use another supplier and they would make a contribution. We said we would wait for them to fix if that would be no later than mid-Jan and otherwise we would instruct another supplier and would want a refund - no response. After a wasted year, used another roofer (who removed the work performed by CNEM), and we intend using Small claims court.

• Replace roof tiles and felting

  Leak in our bedroom led to the need to replace the roof's waterproof felting. John gave a fair quote for the whole roof to be done (not just doubled the cost of doing half the roof or insisting on unnecessary scaffolding). John and team arrived promptly on agreed date but found the roof tiles were in a bad state. He showed us video evidence and quoted a very good price to replace the tiles as well. New tiles were ordered that day, delivered the next and work completed to a very high standard the day after! Will highly recommend to friends and anyone who wants good advice, excellent work and fair prices.
