    Having hit a pot hole on the way to work I managed to limp to Cracknell’s as my tyre pressure steadily dropped. The member of staff I talked to couldn’t have been more helpful and considerate. Though they order tyre replacements as a rule, they were quick to get one in and I drove off the same day. Very impressed with the courteous and professional service. Thanks Cracknells!

    I was driving between locations for my job when my cars engine light came on a few days after unfortunately having an accident with a deer. I pulled into Cracknells and asked thier advice. They immediately were willing to help and looked at my problem as they had space. Unfortunately I needed a new radiator and some other bits. They were so accommodating and booked my car in for the next day, sourced parts to keep to lowest cost and had me back on the road the following evening. They were incredibly kind, explained everything and made me feel comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend.

    Excellent service. I live in London and needed a replacement passenger door. I sourced it from the scrapyard that's local to Cracknell's garage. They collected the replacement and I arranged to bring my car to get them to fit it. I didn't know who they were and trusted them, as I didn't have room in my car. I was met by James Cracknell, who was polite, knowledgeable and very accommodating. They managed to fit the door, changed the locks and did other work at short noticed. Very friendly. I will bring my cars to this garage from now on. I am really pleased.

Cracknells garage is a family run business who have been trading for 60 years.

 In 1959,then known as Station Garage, Brian Cracknell and his father took the business over from the previous owners who had been running the site since the 1930's.

Now we have a fully equipped workshop which can service,  repair and M.o.T all makes and age  of car and light commercial vehicle. Our experienced staff are happy to undertake diagnostics, clutches,cam belts, engine/transmission swaps along with welding and other engineering services, also motorcycle M.o.T.'s. and can provide a courtesy car.

We are proud to say that we specialise in Classic cars, having a keen lifelong interest in them makes us a good choice for looking after your pride and joy ,Brian himself still owning the classic  Jaguars he's had for many years. 

We are also a petrol retailer,Murco branded,and have a fully stocked convenience store with a large car care section.
