    Dan is excellent. Obvs.Vast experience. He is training an apprentice to pass on his experience. Very straightforward chap. Regarding the minority of negative reviews here; Let he who is without sin cast the first stone (John 8:7) Terribly unfair to use social media to vent your frustrations. Tell your mates, tell Dan, praise in public, but don’t jeopardise a hard working fellow’s chances of earning and putting food on the table. If you’ve never had an off day at work, if you are perfect! Then carry on venting, but I think it says more about you than Dan? Dan saved our lives. Thanks Dan

  • Skirting boards to two rooms

    I'm so let down by the work that Dan did that I'm writing this to warn others. We had two rooms needing new skirting boards. Dan quoted and agreed a time, then re-scheduled, then was late twice, then showed up without the materials he needed. But the worst part is that the skirting boards are horrendous. He hacked off a massive jagged chunk of plaster out the wall about 1.5m wide. Then tried to fill it with foam that has buckled/cracked the plaster. He broke a light fitting. And the skirting boards aren't even done well. It will cost more to repair his work than the original quote. So upset!

Hi there, I am a joiner/carpenter from Leeds. I have 30 or so years’ experience, mainly in construction, but I have also worked in film and theatre, and as a cabinet maker for several years. Because of this varied work, my strong point is doing one-off bespoke projects that require a little bit of invention and creativity. All aspects of the building trade are covered and other works include, bathrooms, kitchens, extensions, basement conversions and alarms.
