Handrails fitted on steep narrow interior staircase
10Verified ReviewNic was considerate and courteous over the two days of work. Our staircase is steep and narrow in a 1920s house. We had to replace the old handrail with something we could actually grasp and attach a handrail on the other side that would sit flat on an unusual wall and still be used safely. Nic made good with filler, sanding, and repainting. The new oak rail is beautiful and much safer. He also fitted a lovely oak plank, shaped, sanded and oiled, to the opposite wall. Nic could also work over a Bank Holiday weekend, which was super convenient for us. Terrific job well done.

He was timely, polite and did a great job, with all doors now, not only freshened up, but closing properly for the first time in almost 20 years. He even shaved the bottoms of a couple so that they no longer catch on the carpet.
