  He was here within 3 hours of first contact. Polite professional and proficient. No fuss and did the job easily. He also gave us a contact number to ring about our tumble dryer which is the subject of a call back due to fire issues. The manufacturer or the place we bought it from never told us about that and we could even end up with a new machine free of charge. Highly recommend this man for all domestic appliance needs.

• Cook top exhaust fan repair

  While the tradesperson charged me £40 for the diagnostic, which was agreed, he promised he would return to complete the repair but disappeared completely, leaving the job hanging without any communication. I tried to reach him on WhatsApp, which was our means of communication, but he did not reply after leaving the job undone. I would appreciate it if he had even told me he was incapable of fixing the exhaust fan so I could find someone else. Now I paid £40 just to know I had a problem with the fan, which I knew already otherwise I won't need to call anyone, and the job still left undone.

  So happy with this service. Arrived super fast and fixed it in record time. My daughter's bracelet had got caught in the pipe and all was fixed in minutes. Definitely recommend.

• NOT a good experience.

  This person came to fix my cooker. He replaced the element, charged me £85.00 and said that he would come back to replce the selector knob. He didn't return. Texted him many times with no response. Eventually had to get another person to do the work as oven still didn't work. New contractor said that the element had been replaced but that it was not necessary, he tested the old element and it was in perfect working order. I was charged for something that didn't need doing and left without a working oven. The only problem was the knob. Asked for refund but no response.
