    David is a first class electrician and has completed work for us on numerous occasions. He installed 6 double electric sockets and also rewired an alarm box that had been taken down in error. We would never use anyone else but David and are extremely happy that we found him on Checkatrade.

    David called round one evening to survey and assess the work required and he provided a detailed quotation within a few days . On my acceptance of the quotation he telephoned to arrange a mutually convenient date and time to undertake the work. He was very personable, helpful and polite and he carried out the necessary electrical work to a very high standard and left the property clean and tidy. His timekeeping was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend.

    David did some electrical works for me 14 years ago, and I have asked for him to do the same when I moved recently. He installed new fuse box, additional sockets and porch light, replace bedroom and bathroom lighting, as well as install new light in conservatory. David is reliable, courteous and tidy up afterwards and his work is of high standard. I will definitely recommend David to anyone.

I am a fully qualified, experienced electrician, having completed a 4 year apprenticeship back in 1982. I have worked in the electrical industry, before establishing  DJM Electrical in 1998.

My qualifications include City & Guilds Electrical Installations Parts 1&2, City & Guilds Test & Inspection 2391 and City & Guilds 18th edition.

I have been a NICEIC domestic Installer since Jan 2005 and therefore can issue certificates compliant with Part P of the Building regulations.

I specialise in domestic electrical installations, including consumer unit changes, re-wires, extra sockets & lighting, garage & garden installations, showers, smoke alarm systems, security lighting, hot tubs, storage heaters and more.
