    Ryan fitted an extended wardrobe in our house, and we are extremely happy with the result. The whole process - agreeing the design, the quote, and then carrying out the job were undertaken with professionalism. I would happily contact Ryan again for any carpentry need.

    Ryan built a new coat store and loft storage in our new home. It was a job that took almost 2 weeks so we got to know him well. He is an extremely competent carpenter and was very good at providing ideas for the best way to achieve what we wanted. He was tidy, meticulous, reliable and always friendly and communicative. We are delighted with the end result and would definitely recommend Ryan and use him again.

    Ryan from Drift Woodworking is an excellent carpenter. He is completely reliable, pays great attention to detail, is proud of his work, does everything diligently, and his prices are competitive. The photos below illustrate this well. - Wren kitchen fitting (Ryan did not fit the worktop, nor did the electrics or plumbing). The bookshelf looks amazing (Ryan did not paint or prime the bookshelf. He prepared the bookshelf for lighting but did not install the lights). - Wardrobe doors fitted in front of an IKEA Kallax bookshelf. - Panels were fitted quickly and properly.

    Great service, excellent workmanship and first rate problem-solving. I couldn't be more delighted with the finished doors and wouldn't hesitate recommending Drift Woodworking. When the job proved slightly more tricky and time consuming than anticipated Ryan took the time and trouble to check with me before he proceeded at each stage, and then came out at the weekend to complete the work.

    Ryan was great - good initial consultation and he spotted a (MAJOR) risk that other carpenters quoting had missed which I was very thankful for as it changed the scope of the job. Work was carried out to satisfaction and I will definitely keep Ryan in mind for any future carpentry requirements.

Hello, my name is Ryan, and I am Drift Woodworking. I am an Oxfordshire based carpenter with 14 years’ experience.

 

I undertake a wide range of projects:


  • Bespoke built in wardrobes, cupboards, and joinery.
  • Bespoke tables and household items such as chopping boards and clocks.
  • First fix carpentry:

Studwork and joisting, door linings and frames, staircase work

  • Second fix Carpentey:

Internal door fitting, skirting and architrave, fitting ironmongery and locks, flooring of various ranges

  • Decking and planter builds.
  • Bespoke Shaker style doors. 
  • Laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring.
  • Pipe boxings and covers.
