    I have found Dai extremely helpful and inventive when dealing with problem surfaces. He carries a wide range of tools ready to tackle problems arising. I asked whether he could suggest a stipple paint to disguise a badly plastered fireplace surround, but he said he thought he could improve on the finish himself, which he did, so that the plastering is now scarcely noticeable. He will also suggest possible improvements, like putting new doors on the ugly meter cupboards by the dining room ceiling which are now a feature of the room. I cleared what I could but Dai moved the heavier stuff too

    Dai arrived on time kindly, collected the paint for me from his suppliers and completed the task of painting ceiling, walls and woodwork as requested. The ceiling needed anti mould paint which was applied. Excellent workmanship am happy to recommend Dai to anyone needing a painter and decorator.

    Sean was quick to respond to quote for the work and he came out to look and returned with a quote fairly promptly. On the day the work was completed Sean did such a good job and was just able to get on with it. We asked for a single wall to be wallpapered, but this was a tricky task as the wall is 5m at its highest point. Sean managed to setup including the scaffolding tower, complete the work and clear up well all in less than a day. The results are amazing Thanks Sean

    We have recently moved into the area and needed to change the colour of the walls in our lounge, one bedroom and a shower room. We found Dai to be very conscientious, tidy in his work and always on time. We found the quality of his work to be excellent, all in all a very nice experience. We will definitely use Dai in the future!

    Patient,meticulous work on property the same time a joiner was working on replacing rotted wooden frames of sash windows. Though no personal information is requested I'd want to add that it was the the personality of this company's particular worker that made for minimal difficulties while work was done on site. Very pleasing outcome

Hello, my name is Dai Walters and I am DW Decor.  I have been a sole trader for the past twenty years or so and am regarded by my clients as being reliable, conscientious and trustworthy.  I have received appraisals from clients both through Checkatrade and independent of them that have resulted in repeat work and referral work.

My work covers most aspects of the decorating trade that have included wallpapering (see photos), minor carpentry where required,  children's bedrooms (see photos) and whole building projects, both interior and exterior (see photos).

On the whole my prices are considered very reasonable and I am always happy to meet up and give an estimate for the work required.
