  • Floor board replacement

    Three floorboards under our bedroom carpet turned out to be damaged and in need of replacement. Time was of the essence, as we had already ordered a new carpet to be fitted. Philip and Richard of F&C Shaw were able to inspect the floor and provide us with a quote within one day. Despite the job requiring two trips (first inspection, then fitting) and machining new boards to size, the quote was very reasonable. The fitting took place the following week and was done quickly, professionally and without leaving a single wood chip behind. We're very happy with the result.

    Had these guys round, to make some MDF base cabinets and floating shelves built into 2 reveals in our living room. They also built one MDF wardrobe in our small bedroom. The work was carried out on time and to a very high standard. Truly exceptional. We will 100% be using them again.

We are a small family run company which was started by our father in 1962. Now run by his two sons with 38 years experience. Our qualifications are Carpentry and Joinery and Machine Woodworking City and Guilds.
