• Solid Oak Floor in Kitchen/Diner Refurbed

  An excellent experience with Joe and his team from start to finish. Getting the house ready for sale - kitchen/diner of 35sqm has a solid oak floor laid 12 years ago, looked tired and needed rejuvenating. Joe arrived punctually for the quote, was patient and methodical in explaining the options, quoted promptly and replied promptly to further enquiries. Floor took 3 days in total. Joe attended regularly whilst Anthony and Jim were working on the floor. The finished floor looks superb and surpassed our expectations. Joe is thoroughly professional and a pleasure to deal with.

  Joe is very professional and courteous trader. He explains everything and gives you very confidence on his skills. Overall, I appreciate his work. His presence on the job makes sure that progresses are well managed and work his completed at good level. When he is away you can see slowness and some small defects. He worked on installing wooden floors on two staircases and the final result is great. Sometime, I can hear some squeaky step, hopefully it does not get worse. And Joe assured that if there is some fix he is always available for his clients.

  I do not give a perfect score lightly but I'd rate Joe and his team a 10 without a moment's doubt. Joe is a lovely gentleman (which maybe isn't essential but is jolly nice).He's extremely patient, explains things simply and is very accommodating. He's a craftsman who takes great pride in his work.He took the same care with a tiny flat in Hammersmith as I think he would have with a grand house in Kensington. Joe did such lovely work that it seems a shame to walk on the floor:I can see his skill every time I look down.The only downside is it shows up the shoddy workmanship in the rest of the flat.

  Joe and his team did a great job replacing the old laminate flooring. Joe clearly explained what he would do, the quote was clear and the workmanship was great. In addition, Joe was polite and tided up after the work was completed. I recommend Flooring 24 for laying laminate flooring.
