• Restoring and installing a vintage Morso Squirrel

  Great service from very knowledgeable and skilled professionals. The job involved restoring a Morso Squirrel 1410 that had been sitting unconnected and unused in a fireplace for 30yrs, as well as lining the chimney and putting in a plate to block off the chimney. All work done beautifully and the house left nice and clean, despite all that had to be done. A slight issue with fumes coming off the Squirrel the first time it was lit was soon resolved, with a quick call (great follow-up care). It was just the paint and sealant burning off. Now, I have a lovely working burner - looks good too!

  DESPITE HAVING TO CLEAN CHIMNEY AND STOVE OF TAR BY GRINDING. THEN FITTED A DOUBLE LINED FLUE. ALISTAIR AND KEN CALLOWAY COVERED THE FLOORS FROM THE BACK DOOR TO THE HEARTH AND ENSURED THEY LEFT NO MESS. MY EFFICIENT LOG BURNER IS NOW WORKING AS IT SHOULD AND IS A DELIGHT TO USE AND SIT WITH. BOTH ALISTAIR AND KEN WERE POLITE, PERSONABLE, AND MORE TO THE POINT KNOWLEDGEABLE! IN JUST ONE DAY WE WENT FROM AN UNUSABLE LOG BURNER BECAUSE OF TAR BURNING FUMES, TO AN EASY TO USE AND CLEAN LOG BURNER.
