    I found Simon helpful from the start , he came out to look at job , gave a comprehensive report we agreed price , work was carried out to the letter , very pleased would definitely use again he even notiticed and end part had come loose from my guttering , he repaired great service !

    After placing my request I was contacted by Simon, Fowler & Son who agreed to come and look at doors. The doors were very plain flush doors and we wanted them to have more character. The doors were veneered and, as we had a spare door, Simon took this away to see if our preferred option was visible, ie routing and making the doors look panelled. Simon went to a lot of trouble to get the look that we hoped for and we are extremely pleased with the result. All doors were rubbed down, routed and then a cost of light stain and then beeswax. They now look like new doors. Very pleased.

  • New Internal Fire Door

    My letting agent advised that I required a new internal fire door to be fitted in a property I own and rent out. I often organise repairs more efficiently, via Checkatrade, than my letting agent and despite being out of the country I took on the task. Within a couple of hours of posting the job I received a reply from Fowler and Son Carpentry and Building. I then spoke briefly with Simon Fowler on the phone and thereafter liaised via WhatsApp. Within 5 days of that phone conversation the job was complete, my tenant was happy, I had received photos of the work and I had paid. Top service !
