  • Replacing mastic in conservatory

    Gavin came out to see me, was very professional and provided an estimate for the doing the work. I replied to accept his quote. After that, I didn't hear another word from him, neither to acknowledge that I'd accepted the quote nor to keep me up to date - whilst 50% of the work was external, therefore need good weather, he did not let me know where I was on his list. After several weeks where I just assumed he was too busy, I left a message saying that unless I heard from him I would look for someone else. Never heard another word from him and I wasted 5 weeks of time getting done.

  • Whole bathroom reseal

    I found Gavin after a Google search and arranged a visit with him for a quote within a couple days. On the day, after filling the bath Gavin found a larger than usual gap so suggested to my wife he used a solid seal around the bath rather than mastic. It looks absolutely first class and we are more than happy with it. We have black floor tiles so Gavin used black mastic around them, which again looks really smart. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Gavin, his work is great and he is very neat and tidy

    Gavin did a terrific job removing old silicone and regrouting. It has brought our shower cubicle back to life! Our bathroom ceiling was also looking neglected so Gavin did a great job repainting it. I would highly recommend Gavin, he is very reliable, polite and a tidy worker.

    Gavin removed the perished and old sealant from our en-suite and replaced it with sealant which matched the colour of the tiles and room. The work was completed on the arranged date and time and he was very friendly and tidy. I would highly recommend Gavin.

    Gavin spent all day with us until about 6.45 pm repairing and then repainting a ceiling damaged by a leak from the shower in the bathroom above. It was impressive that he managed to get this done in one day - a long day but he got the work completed to a very good standard. We will be asking him to quote for some some external work that we need to get done next spring/summer

Hi my name is Gavin Baker, I first set up my business in 2018, I'm a sole trader and I do most of my advertising and work is seen on Facebook, I have previously worked in the building trade with my father on and off since I was young and he still helps me out when I need him time to time, I'm a very friendly, happy person I take pride in my work and the knowledge I have and to always tidy up and leave the job clean and tidy. I specialize being a mastic man, from new application to taking out old silicone and replacing with new. I'm also a decorator as well interior and exterior, and also some bits of property maintenance. I will always do the best work I can or give the best advice to the customers and if it's out of my reach than I will know someone who will be able to do the job and have my backing 100%.
