    Having saved up lots of carpentry jobs, it was time to take the plunge and get some quotes. The work was varied and potentially challenging. We had several quotes and George seemed to be the most diligent when considering the work, gave the clearest and detailed quote and, as it happens the most competitive. George fixed a sagging soffit/fascia and re-tiled a porch with lovely red cedar shingles. He repaired many sections of the garage and fixed gates, fences and replaced any rotten wood. In every area, the work was a very high standard and his attention to detail was fantastic. Try him!

    George provides an excellent service. He is polite, a hard worker, punctual and is a skilled Carpenter. It was a pleasure to have him at the house over a number of days to fit the new doors and he did a first class job, taking great care and ensuring we were satisfied with the finished work. I would recommend him for any Carpentry and joinery work, as his attention to detail and skill is first class.

    We moved into our new home in Heathfield and needed assistance with building flat pack furniture (Including a 4 door wardrobe), and trampoline. Due to recovering from an Operation this wasn't something I could do myself unfortunately and within such a short timeframe, G.L Carpentry arrived and before I knew it, everything was built and looked fantastic! I would highly recommend G.L Carpentry, it would have been impossible to move in and turn the house into our family home without them.

    We can only highly recommend George. This was a really big job. The annexe was a shell when George first came, and over 3 months he covered all the second fix carpentry jobs, from door frames, to floor boards, skirting, fitting laminate wood floor, skirting boards, doors fitting, a new Howdens kitchen fit, bespoke cupboard doors, fitting putty windows, bespoke shelving. There was nothing he wouldn't do and all was finished to a high quality. George is lovely to have around and does an excellent job.

We cover all aspects of carpentry. From first fix - including stud partition, floor joisting and roofing, to second fix including flooring, skirting, doors and frames. We have completed projects ranging from bathroom renovations too outdoor structures like summer houses, pergolas, garden furniture, and decking.


Alongside carpentry, we can also offer a wide range of joinery work. Examples of previous joinery work include custom wardrobes, cabinets, bespoke shelves/drawers, and gates.
