  Since moving to the area just a few months ago, we were lucky to discover George almost immediately. We've had him back time and again for different jobs - he's completely redesigned our understairs storage, hung new doors throughout the house, built a bespoke cupboard in our bathroom, and created a completely built-in home office desk / shelves. No job is too big or too small, and every one has been completed to an impressive standard. Professional, meticulous, tidy, and an absolute joy to have around. We can't recommend George enough.

  George is a lovely man, when someone is in your house for a week this is really important as well as their skills. George really focusses on the details and is a perfectionist - just what you want when having something done in your home. He regularly made several touch points before and during the job to ensure we were happy with the service. The end results are excellent. We plan to get George back again for other jobs! Definitely recommend

  George was great from the get-go. So helpful and knowledgeable. Once I put out the request, he came to the house within a few days. He took the time to take us through what needed to be done and how it needed to be done. George replaced the existing internal doors, plus put in new ones, including, new door frames. He is professional, skilled and reliable and the work done was top notch. I couldn't recommend him enough.

  This was the second job George has done for us and it certainly won’t be the last. George is a pleasure to have around and his knowledge is second to none. He talked us through every step of the process to make sure we were happy with everything. He goes above and beyond and takes real pride in his work. He is punctual and left our house clean and tidy at the end of each day. I would never use another carpenter again and already have my next projects lined up for next year. Thank you George

  George was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He took the time to explain every aspect of the job and kept me updated throughout. George was on time every day and always left everything clean and tidy at the end of the day. He also did little jobs for me on top of everything else he was doing and nothing was too much trouble, he’s a gem! I am over the moon with the new doors and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend GM Carpentry to people.
