• Re-rendering of leaking chimney and localised roof repairs

  David and his team were very quick to respond to re-render repair a leaking chimney stack that was leaking water down the disused and improperly capped stack and down into the blocked off fireplace. This was actually happening on the party wall, and the neighbours refused to even consider that there may be a roof issue on their side too. The Grand Design Roofing team did an amazing job of addressing a minor disaster that could have ruined Christmas! The detailed before and after videos and explanations were beyond helpful. Thank you David!

  Company contacted me the same day as advert placed. Arranged a visit to quote. Arrived on time. Agreed quote. Job done within days. I was able to ask questions and watch. Had to split job due to weather, but they managed around that. Roofers were friendly and courteous. The job used tiles I supplied for the gully, and they replaced any others that were shown to be broken. They took photos of work to show me. I was satisfied with the job and the bill was as quoted.

  David and his team were able to put in place lead around our dormers, which oddly they had been lacking (and the material around the dormers was disintegrating with the conditions, noted by roofers replacing the flat roof but who lacked the expertise to do lead work). They were the cheapest of 3 quotes, able to work at short notice (finished the job over the weekend), and showed me it. Very timely, polite and pretty tidy.

  David and team had a gap between jobs so were able to fix my flat roof quickly. The job was to fix a leaking fiberglass flat roof - which he advised to felt instead. I was sent pictures or previous jobs and gave me a quote on the spot when viewing my roof. I had three quotes - one recommended resealing and two said to felt instead. Grand Designs quote was competitive and they could do it asap so I went for it. So far so good so thank you to David and team!
