  • Construction of a firewall in loft

    Prior to a house sale, I needed to install a firewall in my loft. I received a call from Simon at GCC within a couple of hours of adding request to Checkatrade. He visited the property within a week and provided a quote giving me 2 options. The work was completed within 5 weeks of first contact and construction took less than a week. Simon managed discussions with the district council and kept in touch pretty much daily (I was based elsewhere in the UK so comms were vital). House was vacuumed/cleaned post work completion. Highly recommend - great customer service and expedition of work.

    My elderly mother had extensive work done to her porch. The tradesmen that carried out the work to the highest standard were both friendly and professional. They kept her informed at all times and she was delighted with the end result. We would not hesitate to recommend this firm.

    Our existing garden wall was in a very bad state and the company demolished the old wall and prepared everything. They helped match the bricks so that they looked right for the existing house and advised on the right level and the design of the wall so it was structurally strong. They did a great job laying the bricks so they looked just right for the house and fitting the coping stones along the top which needed very careful cutting.

    The room required walls to be skimmed with plugs and radiators removed. It wasn’t the simplest of jobs. The workmanship was first class everything so thoroughly done including the repainting of walls and ceilings . Oh, one other thing, everything was done to schedule. Would recommend Cambourn Construction highly
