As Ed's dad, John, (now retired) fitted the mains-linked smoke alarms, I thought I'd keep it in the family and contacted Ed. He made it easy, from start to finish, by arranging the appointment with the tenants, doing the work and then photographing everything - as the council stipulated. I just made the initial phone call and paid the invoice. Perfect. A landlord's dream. And a reasonable price.
