    Stuart has visited our home multiple times to handle various tasks, including internal and external painting and decoration. He is professional, efficient, reliable and always polite, and consistently delivers high-quality work. This time, he painted the ceiling of our new bathroom, refreshed wall paint along the stairs, and painted some woodwork and an external handrail. We are very pleased with the results. Moreover, his pricing is reasonable. Highly recommend!

  • Fixing a bathroom issue

    Our bathroom fitters last year didn't secure our toilet roll holder on with sufficient screws - attempts by family members to tighten it failed dramatically and I was left fuming. Fortunately, Stuart replied really quickly to my Checkatrade shout out and within days the job was done, with no mess or issues. I was really pleased at his professionalism and will be employing him again in future.

Hi, my name is Stuart and I have been running 'Hamblins Quality Handywork' as a sole trader for 10 years, now in the Brighton and Hove area after re-locating from Southampton. I offer a full range of Handyman, Decorating Services, Flat Packs, Property Maintenance/Repair and Shelving and pride myself on providing a quality finish as if I was working in my own home. I have a number of regular clients both commercial and private but am equally happy doing small one off jobs as I am larger projects. I am happy doing all aspects of handyman work, with the exclusion of electrical and plumbing works.
