  When the Plumber Visited the Flat, my tenant was present there and she seems very satisfied with the work. I am happy that HandyExperts have responded very fast to my work & completed it next day. They also contacted the Tenant directly on my behalf & fixed the date & time for visit with her. This was very helpful. I would have appreciated it more only if they would have sent me a breakdown of their Invoice amount stating Material cost Because their quote was for GBP 118 but I paid 153.60 not knowing for what the difference was charged.

• Repair Boiler and Toilet

  Unfortunately this was not as expected. I had briefed before the job that I needed both my toilet and boiler repaired. The review is in two parts. Agreed on boiler repair needed additional works and a quick fix done - complicated job. However, the other job was not started or completed. I was super clear in briefing I needed my toilet fixed. Instead, he scanned toilet, said he didn't have parts and couldn't do it on the day, I was told he would have to come out again for another fee - even though I specifically asked for it. So paid a lot of money for 5 mins review and no repair.

  Work competed quickly and efficently however they do appear to offer two prices a fixed price and hourly rate which you are told about when they arrive, therfore wise to have an estimated time frame to ensure you get the best value for money

• Boiler repair

  Reaction time for the repair was quick and the engineer was able to come to my home quickly for an inspection and basic repair. Supposedly the original call out charge (£138) was to be scrapped if I was to continue with them to do the full work. Another invoice was sent for a further £217.50, without a breakdown of cost. When requested, very slow response, refuse to provide. Same time, the boiler is leaking more and heavier each passing day, causing more damage, they gave the least care. Felt like I was being over charged for the parts and work. Decided not to proceed and did it myself.
