10Verified ReviewBarry did a fantastic job putting up some wallpaper for us. It was around a chimney breast where no walls seemed straight, so it was a tough job. He arrived, set out dust sheets and sanded the wall to get it ready before absolutely smashing the application of the wallpaper, we’re thrilled with it and would thoroughly recommend Barry, having now done a couple of jobs for us!

10Verified ReviewBarry responded promptly to our query and gave us a rough estimate. Based on that we booked a time for him to come. He arrived on time and fitted the curtain rail. We then discovered that the blind we had bought did not have any fixings. So Barry came back the next day at no extra cost and finished the job. He was courteous and polite and cleaned up any mess. He is willing to do the small jobs that many others aren't interested in and we will definitely use him again.

When it came to the blind he found that the fixings were missing and thus couldn't complete the job. We returned the blind and got one with fixings and he returned the next day to fit it at no extra cost.

Hi I’m Barry
I started Handy on The Hill in Muswell Hill N10 in 2012, with the sole aim of providing an affordable professional property maintenance and handyman service to residential homeowners and landlords.
The business was well received by my customers in North London, I soon had a steady client base of wonderful customers with regular repeat work requests for household fixes and small creative projects.
In 2014 my Family and I moved to Hertfordshire and expanded the business, I now have a large pool of happy customers in both North London and Hertfordshire and with over 20 years of experience my ethos is still the same, no journey is wasted when travelling with a positive mind and tools!
