• Leaky roof and overflowing gutter

  We phoned Mark concerning a leaky roof and an overflowing gutter. He arrived when he said he would and very soon we were confident he was the man for the job following his very thorough appraisal of the situation backed up by photographs. On the day he again arrived when he said he would and the job was done without further ado (it was flashing causing the leak and not what somebody else had previously said it was), followed by the gutter. We particularly valued Mark's expertise on other aspects of our house which he shared freely and I have no hesitation whatsoever in commending him to you.

  From the first phone call, we were impressed with Mark's professionalism. He completed a thorough site visit and discussed the job in depth, as well as sharing his expertise regarding a few things we had not noticed. The job was booked in in a timely manner and Mark's communication throughout was excellent. He explained everything well and nothing was too much trouble. It was a pleasure doing business with Mark and we shall certainly book him again if needs arise.

• Replacement of lead flashing around a chimney and repointing of cement on the same chimney.

  I was seen about the roof problem the day following my call. I was given a full and clear explanation of what had to be done and why, plus some photos of the damaged area. This was on a Friday, the following Monday scaffolding was erected and Tuesday the repair was fully completed and again photos were provided to show what had been done and why. Both the gentlemen were pleasant and helpful. On completion the area was left tidy and all debris was removed. A high standard of completion all round.

  Mark is a lovely thorough man. Agreed to a quote on the Tuesday and by Thursday men were here to put up scaffolding ready to start work on the Friday! He explained everything thoroughly and made sure to completely sort our leaking issues out for us in the chimney. Can't fault him at all and would recommend him to anyone! Lovely man!
