  The service provided by Dave was very efficient, the survey was detailed and gave a great insight into what work was needed to be done. He is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced, he went into thorough explanation and no question seemed like it was too much to answer. An overall great experience and I look forward to the work starting to rectify the issues in my home.

• Damp survey substandard

  Run away and don't look back. I hired HB5 to do a damp survey and they quoted me a cost of repair of 67,000 pounds while I got 2 others quotes below 10,000. The report quality itself was substandard. It seems only a thermal camera was used, provided with a few pictures and just a sentence for each room. No clear explanation, no meter readings nor measurements were provided. This report and quote almost caused me to walk away on the property, and almost caused an incident with the seller to whom the surveyor told there was not much damage. HB5 has caused me nothing but headache and stress. Thanks

  We called to have a leak checked. Dave had workers come in very quickly and done a full Inspection including a scan of the wall which was great. We had a pipe leaking. Vikki sent a detailed estimate. I called my insurer who wanted all details. Dave and his workers came in, we’re professional, did exactly what the insurers needed. In the middle of all this my father in law passed away. The work was stopped, there was absolutely no problem doing this, no pressure to get the work done quicker. Once we was ready the work was finished. Fantastic job
