• Faulty plug socket

  Hugh came out to examine a faulty plug socket, with a view to repairing this if feasible. Unfortunately, the root of the problem proved more complex than we'd expected, and to fix it would have been disproportionately costly and disruptive. Even so, he explained our options clearly and concisely and enabled us to make an informed decision, which we appreciated. We have other work which we'll be very happy for him to carry out for us in the New Year.

• Installing an external lantern

  Hugh did a great job for us installing an outside lantern, wired to an internal switch. Before he carried out the work he explained how he would route the wiring and then took care to position the lantern exactly where we wanted it. We would certainly recommend him.

He was remarkably resourceful in finding solutions to what could have been problems. His workmanship was both skilled and neat and he always consulted us and kept us informed of what he was planning to do.We would highly recommend him.

• Power sockets in my home

  Hugh recently installed brand new sockets in my home. What was especially helpful is that he ordered the right sockets for me instead of me purchasing lower quality ones and not realising. It took the pressure and time away from me having to search for sockets that could potentially be poor quality. Very polite, efficient and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!
