    Due to raising damp, tanking and a damp proof course had to be applied to walls on the lower ground floor. It is a meessy job hacking off all the old plaster,but the men did a reasonable job of covering the rest of the room.

    Very polite and thorough however did not receive the quote I paid for and was promised. Done just before Christmas period and waited until after, some 4 weeks after visit. After querying this with company, reply was that he had sent the quotation the day after visit but the email had ‘bounced back’ and he had not realised this. He then sent the quotation an hour after receiving my email to complain and ask for a refund. This has definitely influenced my decision regarding whether to hire or not.

Based in London Hillcrest Timber Preservation Ltd has over 40 years’ experience in damp proofing. We have evolved with changing technology to provide outstanding services to treat wet rot, dry rot and damp within your home or business premises.  

We pride ourselves on our efficient, friendly and high-quality services. We take the time to visit each client, talk through their damp issues and concerns and advise on ways to reduce damp (e.g. the introduction of dehumidifiers). In the case of structural intervention, we will talk through the options available. We understand clients have reservations about having damp treatment and we do our best to explain the problem and the choice of solutions without compromising on quality or service. 

Damp proofing isn’t always straight forward. Our team of experts will diagnose the source of the damp and provide you with a report on recommended measures to treat it.
