  Barry and Skip are the dynamic duo of all things related to, you name it, plumbing, kitchen fitting, decorating, the list could be endless. A simple decorating job threw up many obstacles in our Edwardian house as prepping uncovered some unwelcome patch ups from previous owners. Nothing defeated them and after a casual conversation they also seamlessly fitted a new toilet. Punctual, plenty of laughs, easy going, nothing a problem. A pleasure from start to finish and all at a very reasonable price which was all laid out very clearly. Very highly recommended.

• Balcony repair and refurbishment

  We had a balcony in a poor state. There was leakage into the room below and the decking and balustrade was rotten. We asked Hinchley Park Developments to remove the rotten timber, resurface the balcony roof, lay new decking and install a new railing. We're very happy with the finished project. The team came when they said they would and there were no unexpected charges.

• Building Kitchen cupboards , painting and Fitting Beading on walls.

  Barry and Skippy once again did an Excellent job. They prepared and painted the walls and stairs from the first floor to the top floor of our house. Barry built two kitchen cupboards to match our existing cupboards and Skippy painted our kitchen walls, cupboards and all of the woodwork . Barry also fitted Beading on the walls in our hallway and on the walls of our stairs. The whole project was done efficiently and we are very happy with all of the work they have done. They are very polite and always leave everything clean and tidy. We will use them again for other projects.

• New bedroom ceiling, redecoration and in-built cupboard

  Had a very good experience using Hinchley Park Developments again after they completed a full kitchen refurb for us last year. Barry and Skip replaced a ceiling in our daughter’s bedroom following a leak and redecorated throughout, including fitting of new picture rail. Half way through the job, we decided that we wanted a large in-built wardrobe and Barry and Skip were able to accommodate and worked very hard to make it happen. As usual, we were very pleased with their work. It’s always a pleasure working with them as they are great fun, reliable and focus on the detail. Highly recommend

  Excellent standard of work in decorating inside and out, joinery-repairs as required, shower re-tiling, replacing door and installing new tray, organizing scaffolding and general making-good.

• Kitchen fitting and reconfiguration of kitchen and dining room

  Barry made the chaos of removing an old kitchen and creating a new kitchen diner seem easy. He is a very competent and takes pride in his work. Both the kitchen and our new dining room looked amazing when he’d finished. We had doors and windows reconfigured and part of a wall removed to create a larger open space for us. It looks great and we also liked that Barry helped us to think creatively about the best use of the space we had. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and will definitely use the company again when we need some more work done!
