Home Sweep Home Limited was set up in 2019 by Josh Firkins, a chimney sweep of over 19 years. He had a vision of building a business that was different to the other chimney sweeping businesses. Chimney Sweep companies tend to be one man in a van. That's fine and we all need to start somewhere, but he wanted to offer more. 

He had a wealth of experience to draw from. Josh is a 6th generation chimney sweep; his family have been continuously sweeping chimneys since the mid 19th century. Having worked weekends with family from the age of 12, he started his apprenticeship in 2005 and completed 12 months of supervised working before being let loose on his own.

From that point he always had a desire to be the best he can be and to gain as much knowledge as possible. He holds the NVQ in Chimney Sweeping which is the highest qualification available in the industry. 

Home Sweep Home is dedicated to investing heavily in its business and in its customer. HSH is designed to be run as a real business. Not a one man band. 10% of turnover allocated to marketing, so HSH has a brand that you recognise and trust.
