• Part garage conversion

  I reached out to HR Joinery and Home Improvements for a part garage conversion into a home office. Ben promptly responded, measured up and offered a good quote a start date. He’s punctual, polite, hardworking and highly skilled. The work was completed to a very high standard within a great timeframe. Ben coordinated well with other tradesmen for the plumbing, plastering and painting elements of the job and nothing was too much trouble. So much so we’ve already got him booked in for another job in the near future. 10/10 recommend and will look to Ben for any future work. Thanks again.

• Engineered wood floor and wainscott panelling

  Ben did another great job for us taking out a carpet and old flooring and then installing a new engineered wood floor, boxing radiators, skirting boards and wainscotting. It has made a huge difference to our downstairs and he worked really hard to get the job finished before Christmas. Always a pleasure to deal with and a fair price.

  Ben is an excellent tradesman. No shortcuts or skimping. He went out of his way to finish the job including negotiation to get me a refund on materials that reduced the overall cost. Ben offered a smart solution to an annoying problem and carried out the work to a great standard. He went even further and carried out a repair to my garage roof when he noticed a defect. Ben is fair, reliable, polite and a good communicator who explains his work in an understandable manner, I will certainly use Ben in the future for other work. Many thanks for an excellent job.

  When I initially phoned Ben and left a message he phoned me back!!! (several other traders didn’t) His communication over the hold job was very good. He had a full workload but he moved his schedule around to accommodate us. He quoted for us but said it was an easier/quicker job than he anticipated so lowered the price! There was another small issue when the carpet fitters came so Ben came back and sorted it out free of charge. We have found Ben to be reliable, honest and professional and would happily use him again and recommend him to others. Thank you Ben!
