    Technician called 23.12.24 to notify on way for 2nd visit asked how I was, said I had sore throat/cough. Told they have Covid protocols so had call office despite telling him had tested because of visit, and was negative. Said would open windows and wear a mask. Text received, Technician said I was awaiting results of Covid test visit has to be rearranged. 2 calls ignored when I tried, but responded to a WhatsApp saying they were busy should call after Christmas. After 2nd visit reassured all insulation that had been moved had been replaced. Found later an area where it was missing.

  • Pigeon defence spikes for gutter

    Pigeons were roosting in a gutter down the side of our house. All visits are arranged through their central call system and then via What's App. Scheduling seems to be only a week ahead therefore the first visit was timely and the technician visit confirmed they would clean the muck out of the gutter then add pigeon spikes. The first Team came out but could nor remove pigeon muck (due to setting) and advised full gutter replacement. We sorted that separately. Final visit by Sebastian and Yilver was promptly after and all sorted. Call out £20, deposit £60 balance on completion £360

    I used huntsman pest control they were punctual and polite, but I felt that they did not listen to my concerns. I advised that we had previous companies in to do the job and they said their bait was ineffective and the bait they use should sort out problem. My concern they all use the same technique and bait and cannot see how they will get a better result. 1st treatment will arrange second visit next week and will see the quality of their proofing works before I post again.
