    I asked this person for a quote to do my drive and build a small wall around my flower bed. He sent me a quote but I chose to go with a different tradesman. Mr Gentry clearly went to my house to check on the work done by the other trader. He asked me if I was happy with it, I if I was aware it was not permeable and that the brick wall hadn’t been built. I was most upset that he did this whilst I was on holiday and said there was nothing he could do about it if I was happy.

    Ian is an excellent builder/bricklayer. Listened to customer’s needs. Very polite, punctual and tidy. Stuck to original quote. Any extra work was discussed and agreed in advance. Quality of work is very good. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Ian Gentry Building and Brickwork services have over 35 years’ experience and specialise in all types of brickwork as well as patios, driveways, fencing and various timber projects such as decking and sheds/summerhouses. I/we also undertake structural alterations including knock throughs, underpinning and window/patio door adjustments. I have a city and guilds certificate in brickwork advanced craft  . We are professional, reliable, and  always clean and tidy in customers’ homes. We have a long track record of providing a trustworthy service and take pride in all the work we carry out.
