  If you're reading these reviews then you're lucky you've found this one. Stop reading other reviews and just give Gavin a phone and get him to sort your problem. Gavin is a rare breed of trades person that has great communication, time keeping and the technical skills required to complete the job well and do what he says when he says. He is a genuinely nice guy and definitely gets joy from his job when he does something the customer is happy with. His pricing was also very reasonable, he is happy to earn a fair wage and doesn't take advantage of emergencies like we had. Thanks again Gavin!

• Boiler replacement

  When our old boiler broke down Gavin came round immediately, diagnosed the problem and explained our options. We decided to replace with a new, more efficient model rather than try to fix the 20 year old boiler. Gavin got the replacement done quickly and we are happy with the result. He kept us well informed, always turned up on time and did a good, professional job. Couldn't ask for more.

  My boiler stopped working on a Friday, leaving me with no heating or hot water. Gavin kindly rearranged his schedule to fit me in on the same day. He collected the part required on his way and the job was done quickly and efficiently. He also checked the rest of the boiler over to make sure it was good order. I thought I was going to have a weekend with no heating or hot water so it was a great relief to have my boiler back in action so promptly. Absolutely first class service from a real professional, highly recommended..!

  Gavin from Ignition Heating Services responded to my request on Checkatrade quickly and quoted a more than reasonable price. He explained what was covered in his quote and moreover, took responsibility in arranging works with our tenant so it was hassle free for me. Polite professional and quick to keep me updated, his paperwork was completed and sent immediately. I have since used his services for my own personal property and will again when the next service is due. After some bad experiences with trades this last year , it is good to deal with a straightforward company like his .

• Change water cylinder and fit new shower

  Wow, 10 score really seems too low for this company. I had an issue with my hot water for a serious length of time, had many plumbers out that gave me various reasons for the problem ( none I might add were correct) Ignition Services came along and replaced the cylinder with an upgraded system from a gravity fed to a mains pressure and fitted me a new shower at the same time. The engineer was very professional and friendly. Nothing was too much bother. I would 100% recommend this company, needless to say I will be using their services again if ever I need anything doing What a find !!!
