  Ian was always on time or early, and put in a full day's work leaving about 4.Oo, leaving everything tidy. A couple of areas which were not up to standard were put right with good grace. We did find paint spots on our oiled elm floor. We have also found that the cutting in above eye level on the screen is not very good. The finish to some of the skirting and two window boards is not his best.

  Ian completed the work to an extremely high standard. Has completely transformed the space. He was reliable, punctual and friendly, a pleasure to have in the house. He provided good advice when attended to give the quote and was helpful and flexible. Obviously very hard working and committed to getting best possible result. Would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely use again.

  Ian phillips has completed the repairs and redecoration of five rooms in our house. We are absolutely delighted with Ian's work, The standard of preparation exceeded expectation, sanding and filling walls, repairing wood work, treating water marks and damp areas. The overall finish that Ian attained has completely changed our rooms. Ian was punctual, never let us down. He was polite, courteous and friendly. Ian was aware of my life limiting illness taking account of this he worked methodically and diligently without causing additional distribution. We can't recommend Ian enough he is amazing.

  Ian is a reliable, honest and trustworthy decorator. He's meticulous and uses quality materials, so we're very pleased with the results. Ian's quote was accurate and there were no additional costs. I felt very comfortable being alone with Ian in the house and we entrusted him with a key while we were away so he could finish decorating. Ian was flexible fitting around our busy family life and considerate of minimising disruption to our routine. We will definitely have Ian back to decorate the upstairs at some point, and have already recommended him to friends. Thank you Ian :)
