• The Adustment of some old kitchen Units so a new worktop could be fitted.

  The job was an emergency, because of the poor workmanship of another builder in preparing old kitchen units for a granite worktop. Joe had to respond quickly to my SOS and he had a real challenge to make everything level and strong. He also managed to fit in the work around what he was already committed to, by working on a Saturday. The worktop fitters commented on the good quality of Joe's work and were able to successfully fit our worktops.

  Joe responded to my request very timely, he provided a competitive quote and was in contact ahead of completing the work at each stage. On the day of installation, there were some adjustments we wanted, Joe was patient, he provided solutions and offered us advice along the way. He adapted his work to our needs and has maintained contact even after completing the job to ensure everything was ok. I can’t recommend Joe enough, he stuck to his quote, did an amazing job and is someone that will adapt to ad hoc changes. I would highly recommend Joe and will definitely call on him again.

  We found Joe when needing a bathroom unit to fit in an awkward space. His professionalism, impressive level of knowledge and high quality of work meant we went on to ask him to also build us some fitted wardrobes, TV unit and shelves, fit new doors and replace a number of window sills. Everything from start to finish from initial discussions, receiving the quote, to work being completed was seamless! All work was completed efficiently and in a timely manner thanks to Joe’s impressive work ethic. We are very pleased with the quality of everything and will definitely be recommending to others!

• Composite cladding fitted to retaining walls

  JA Building was contracted to remove the old blown render from 2 long retaining walls at a block of flats I manage in Warlingham and to replace the render with composite cladding. This was a time-consuming job because the existing render had to be chipped off the walls then Joe had to construct a wooden framework to attach to the walls before they could be covered with the cladding. There were one or two minor snagging issues which Joe happily resolved promptly at no extra cost. Joe worked incredibly hard and the end result looks great. I would definitely recommend JA Building.
