  We chose Jamie from Checkatrade to tile our cloakroom and en-suite after been let down by unreliable tilers with poor quality workmanship. Jamie's reviews were all very positive and he came highly recommended. From the moment we met Jamie we knew we had made the right choice, he has such a positive attitude, so knowledgeable, experienced, professional, hardworking, neat, tidy, such a perfectionist. We found a true Dimond in Jamie he's such a genuine polite friendly young man, who we absolutely recommend. We will book Jamie to tile our Hallway and Kitchen Floors as his work is Excellent.   From a word of mouth recommendation I asked Jamie to give me a quote for the job listed above. I explained to Jamie my plans and how I would like the finished project to look, I told him the tile size I was wanting to use (800 x 800 porcelain) he listened and gave me great confidence with his explanation and knowledge of the task ahead. From day one to completion his skill, attention to detail, attitude and personality are faultless he is fantastic at his chosen trade. DO NOT be put off by Jamie's young age there is a very skilled old head on those young shoulders. You will not be disappointe.

• Kitchen floor tiles

  Jamie was originally booked to tile a kitchen floor before the kitchen went in, in a cottage we are renovating. On arrival I asked if he could continue the tiles to a hallway and a small office and also tile a small porch which he arranged to come back and do. Nothing was too much trouble and the tiles were laid beautifully. I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Jamie again in the future and will recommend him to anyone.

• Kitchen Splashback Herringbone pattern

  We requested for our current Splashback to be replaced with a white herringbone design. A quote was received and a date agreed, all timescales and amounts were kept to and the finish of the work is fantastic. We are so happy with the result that we have booked in further tiling work to be completed in two other rooms. I would definitely recommend.

• Kitchen Tiling

  While the main body of the tiling was of a satisfactory standard, the edge tiling was not. I expected to see the edges of the tiling would be of a standard measurement dimensionally. Within the tiled walls there are various electrical sockets and switches. Similarly to the previous criticism, I expected tiles to be cut defining the outlines of the electrical socket and switch housings. In one example a tile had been poorly cut and a gap in a tile was visible beneath an attached wall electrical socket. I did expect the job to be finished off with the application of sealant. No sealant was used.
