    John came to my rescue to fix a poorly sited and dangerously installed electric vehicle charger, an Ohme Home Pro. He visited very quickly to assess the work required. He discussed the options available with me, such as routing part of the cable underground and where and how to mount the charger. He gave me a quote, on the spot. It's a superb installation, looks fabulous and was all done to the quoted price I had an electric vehicle charger fitted by another electrician which was poorly sited. On inspection by two other electricians from Checkatrade, it was condemned as dangerous and a

  • Make Safe And Resite a dangerously installed EV Charger

    I used Checkatrade, with it's enhanced reputation, to search for an electrician, with experience, to reinstall a dangerously fitted EV charger that was unusable, unsafe and a fire risk. I had an EV OHME Home Pro Charger installed by an "Electrician" from a website called www.myjobquote.co.uk He gave me incorrect advice regarding fitting a bare extension cable to a factory OHME HOMEPRO that cost me £185 The charger with a screen display and buttons was mounted more than eight feet high up an outside wall, making it impossible to use without a ladder.
