  Jimmy was the third roofer I called to assess the roof leak. His personality, knowledge & experience shone through & convinced me that he was the man for job. We discussed the various options, costing and what work needed to be undertaken, agreeing a plan & time frame to carry out the repairs . He & his sons provided an excellent & courteous service, keeping me updated & informed throught. A hard working, friendly, family team. The work was carried out to an excellent standard at a very competative rate. I am more than happy to recommend J Cooper Roof Care.

• Full re-roof

  I’ve known Jimmy for over 5 years and we worked together on coming up with a timely plan for my roof repair back in 2019. When the time came in 2022 I needed a full re roof, batten, felt and new tiles. I trusted just one company, well one family with the job and it was Jimmy. From start to finish the communication was clear, deliveries and waste removal very efficient. My house is refreshed and for such a large job I couldn’t be happier to hand over a large amount of money for a job so well done.

• Replacing brick shed roof

  Jimmy and sons went out of their way to provide an excellent service. I now have a water-proof roof and can safely keep my washing machine and freezer in my shed without worrying about leaks for the first time. A hard working, courteous team - nothing too much trouble, they even took some of my rubbish to the tip for me! They were unable to come straight away because of the appalling, rainy weather, but Jimmy kept in contact with me, even rang on the bank holiday to let me know they had everything in hand and would be with me the next day. The rain held off, work completed. Thank you Jimmy.

• Repairs to leaking roof

  We had a long standing with intermittent leakage in part of our roof. This contractor was recommended by a work colleague. Despite being based at a distance they came to assess the problem and gave a common sense assessment and a reasonable quote. Some delays were caused by bad weather but we were kept informed at all times and work was done on the dates finally agreed. Work was completed to our satisfaction. We would recommend!

• Leaking roof -coping stones

  Had a small leak to an outer wall. After an inspection the repair to the coping stones and flashing was done quickly and at a reasonable cost. Will take a few weeks for the wall to dry out and hopefully all fixed and sorted.

• In the wake of Storm Isha ....

  After Storm Isha left a hole in my roof last night, I needed a quick repair. Mr Cooper had been recommended to a neighbour, who passed his details to me. Mr Cooper answered my call while on his way to another job and said he could be with me within an hour or two, Sure enough, he and his son came early and offered to fix the problem there and then. No messing about, no cups of tea, job done! Nice man and more than reasonable rate. 100% happy to recommend.
