  Re-felted and new battening to corner of roof where join with new extension was originally not done properly by builder. However, it transpired that when the flat roof was completely replaced this week by another roofing contractor, JG Roofing had missed the place where the water had been coming in. This has now been put right.

  Bill called back nearly immediately and explained that he had time available the same day to deal with the cascade of water from the blocked hopper head. He estimated that he would arrive by 12 and did so with his team. His price for the job was wholly reasonable. I then asked him to clear the gutters generally. Again, a wholly reasonable price. He went over and above in that he also replaced some slates using spares that I had. Further, he gave some valuable advice as to further work needed, with timetabling, without in any way pushing to do it himself. Delightful, good and recommended.

• Complete new roof and more

  I moved into my property at the beginning of November only to find water running down the walls and coming through the ceiling. The roof was completely shot to pieces. Jason juggled his other jobs around and when the was a gap in the miserable weather he managed to get the scaffolder in and he and his team replaced and repaired my roof. They worked long days and sometimes in bad light to get the job done. I am a very pleased customer!

  The guys turned up on-time and did a quick . Professional repair to my roof ( which was high up and in an awkward location).Father and son team completed the work on time and to a high standard. They explained the fix for the job in hand and did a thoroughly good job- and tidied up everything all for a competitive price aswell . Would definitely recommend J G Roofing ... Mr E . Angmering
