    Jim was amazing! So prompt at coming around and taking a look. Very honest in terms of how to make things cheaper for myself and also gave advice on products I could use if I wanted to do the wallpaper stripping myself. A lovely guy to chat to and did a great job with the plastering. Very thorough and left no mess at the end. He was always quick at getting back to me and had a really good quote price for it all. Thanks Jim! I would definitely use him again.

    My experience with Jim was a straight 10! Such a lovely guy. Polite, courtesy, friendly and professional. He was always early to do his preparations, so that he started on time. He was tidy and kept the mess down to a minimum; and was very thorough in his cleaning up. The two day work scope required him fitting and plastering the bathroom ceiling, and skimming the hallway ceiling and wall, which had been damaged by water. His work was impeccable! My bathroom and hallway look fantastic! They both dried smoothly. No cracking. It's a shame this site doesn't have the feature to upload pictures. A+

Hi I am Jim’s skims, I have been plastering for 17 years and have 20 years experience in the trade. Starting as a labourer fresh out of school many years ago. Learning the trade as a youngster to running a business and working on some major sites all over the country. Completing many different projects from outhouses to loft conversions, whole house renovations, artex cover ups and extensions.


I take pride in my work and I am proud to say I am hard working, honest and reliable. Covering all aspects of plastering there is no job too big or too small.
