    Peter at 'John and Van Removals' was always easy to contact and responded quickly to my requests. His estimate for the day's work was very reasonable. The move went well, and Peter's colleagues worked extremely hard. They were courteous and good-humoured, and nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly use the company again if we need help.

    Absolutely fantastic company. Extremely polite and courteous throughout. The guys did a brilliant job of loading and unloading. This was a long move from Hertfordshire to Dorset but they powered through all day without complaint. Very reasonably priced. So grateful for all your help and would not hesitate to recommend them.

They didn't stop working until very late on our moving day and never complained once. Peter has a brilliant can- do attitude and communication throughout was clear and prompt. My name is Peter, I studied logistics and I've been in the removal industry for over 15 years so I know my field very well. With my best movers, team and colleagues we are happy to do for you:

We are a removal company based with each team in these locations and move homes across the whole UK: Surrey, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Cambridgeshire.


VEHICLES we own:

Extra large LWB Van – ( loading dimensions ) height 2,1m x length 3,7m x width 1,8m x 13 cubic metres = same cubic metres as a small luton van.

How much will fit in LWB van? 1 shared room with up to 20 boxes of personal belongings, dining table and chairs, 2 seater sofa, double bed, chest of drawers & few little bits and pieces.


Luton Van with tail lift – ( loading dimensions ) height 2,1m x length 4.15m x width 2m x 18 cubic metres

How much will fit in a Luton van? 1 bedroom apartment with up to 30 boxes, dining table and chairs, 3 seater sofa, 2 beds, small wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookcase, 2 kitchen white goods.


2 Van removals – For larger moves we will come with 2 Large Luton Vans & number of movers you require.

How much will fit in 2 Large Luton Vans? 3 bedroom house with up to 60 boxes, dining table and chairs, corner + 3 seater sofa, 3 beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookcase, all kitchen white goods.


3 Van removals – For larger moves we will come with 3 Large Luton Vans & number of movers you require.

How much will fit in 3 Large Luton Vans? 4 bedroom house with up to 100 boxes, dining table and chairs, corner + 3 seater sofa, 3 beds, 3 wardrobes, chest of drawers, bookcase, all kitchen white goods, garden furniture.


Every move is different and we recommend you to discuss your move with experts and arrange a home survey so your move will be well planned and quoted according to your needs.


EQUIPMENT: Handtruck 3in1, 100+ blankets, professional sofa, mattress, chair, door, table, armchair covers, moving straps, bubble wrap, moving platform, piano wheels, tape and DIY tools for dismantling your furniture.
