• Flat Roof Repair

  Initially very good communication, returned calls quickly & arrived at agreed times etc. Repair to flat roof was undertaken & the bill paid instantly by BACS transfer, while the tradesman was still on the property. Subsequent inclement weather has showed that the leak has not been fixed, I have left numerous messages (5 or 6) over approximately a six week period with no return phone calls, let alone a repair.

• Chimney and Roof Gable End Leaks

  Following initial failed repairs and disputes over the actual work undertaken and charged for, which I called them out on, and no shows, the company owner inspected and agreed it was unsatisfactory and arranged for it to be properly repointed. He was excellent and couldn't have been any more helpful. The chimney is now leak free. Still to see if the Gable end joists dry out. Time will tell. All hopefully OK, but a real shame of their initial lazy 2 hour Bodgeit and Scarper "that'll probably do" fix with mastic for a staggering ransom £650 and an unwelcomed stressful experience for me all round.

• Repointing of chimney and redo leadworks

  We had water staining on the ceiling of the master bedroom (which sits in the eves of the roof), around the chimney breast. John assessed the work required, he was thorough and clear as to what needed to be done, this also was reflected in his quote. On the day, John was timely and efficient. He and his workmate ground out and repointed the chimney to ensure it was watertight. Refit and seal the leadworks around the chimney. All appears to be in good order, but as we haven't experienced any heavy rain I am unable to ascertain if the works were correct for the problem. So far, so good!
