    I initially found Jay on the next door app where his reviews were very good and as checkatrade reviews mirrored this I contacted him for a quote to patch up and paint the outside of my house. He promptly responded and was very helpful with advice on paint. Within a fortnight of speaking with him my house has been painted and pictures have been hung. He’s even coming back to fit a magnet on a wardrobe door as it’s not closing properly. The work took less time than he anticipated so he adjusted the final bill unlike some unscrupulous tradesmen I have previously encountered who would eke it out.

  • Complete refurbishment of two bedroom flat

    Jay has literally just finished a complete refurbishment of a two bedroom flat. He has done an amazing job - absolutely nothing fazed him - whatever needed fixing, he fixed it without batting an eyelid. I have never come across such a multi-talented person as Jay. He was just fantastic. No sharp intake of breath when faced with an issue - he just dealt with it - an amazing guy - and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I will definitely be using him again....

    Jay was amazing - nothing fazed him. Whatever needed repairing before he could paint was not a problem - this guy is seriously mutli-talented as a handyman as well as a superb painter. He is meticulous and repaired issues - he did not just paint over them. He has done an excellent job on a flat that had been left in pretty poor condition. It now looks like new! I would not hesitate to recommend Jay and will definitely be using him in the future both for my own home and for repairs and redecoration of my properties.

    Jay carried out a complete repair and redecoration of a two bedroom apartment that had been left in a pretty poor condition. He did a truly brilliant job, repairing where necessary and making good as well as an excellent job painting the whole apartment. I rarely provide recommendations but Jay is one of the best I have had the luck of finding as his work is excellent and his ability to repair and overcome issues is outstanding. Add to that he is a delight to deal with and so accommodating. I honestly cannot recommend him highly enough - absolutely 10 out of 10 for everything.

    I met Jay a few years ago when I needed a few very basic jobs (hanging two heavy mirrors, removing a door) done in my flat. I was impressed by his attention to detail and his very friendly attitude. When a friend needed help to renovate her flat, I had no hesitation in recommending him to repaint the whole flat and oversee the work done by other trades - she wanted to go to tender! Jay wasn't the cheapest option, but I knew that his work would be good, so she went with me and it was! Recently, I needed more work in my flat, and Jay did the required work to his usual top standard!
