    I was very impressed with everything J Schmid Landscapes had to offer . Jonathan , James and the team completed my driveway recently . I had a few quotes off over landscaping companies but there friendly and helpful personality separated them from the rest . I felt like I could trust them to get on with the work . We are J Schmid Landscapes, a team of landscapers passionate about creating gardens. A family business, with over a decade of operating in the Watford area.

Who are we?

We are Jonathan and James Schmid, two brothers who have been landscapers in Watford for over 15 years.


We started out with our Dad’s family business after school. An old master of the trade (don’t tell him we said old!), he taught us the trade while we learned complimentary skills at college.

Jonathan is a fully qualified bricklayer, specialising in decorative brickwork. James is a skilled carpenter, and also studied brickwork in his time at college.

We have built a team that we know and trust. Our hard working staff are professional and approachable.
