• I needed a tap washer replacing to the mains

  He told me I needed a new stopcock and for me to purchase this (why ask me?), leaving him in my home on his own. When I returned, he had cut the tap out completely with his angle grinder. He spent 3 hours trying to solder on the new tap creating two leaks and wrecking the new seal with too much heat. I now need a screwdriver every time I use any water to stop the massive leak he made. He wanted £341 but I paid less to get rid of him. No receipt, invoice or breakdown of work carried out. Thoroughly unprofessional and incompetent tradesman. Definitely not recommended.

• Leaking shower

  We had an intermittent leak but no idea where it was coming from as it had stopped. We were able to show Julian where the leak had been and he used a camera to look underneath the shower and found the leak!! Julian arrived on time and was a tidy and efficient plumber. Very reasonably priced and upfront with what is cost per half an hour. He was brilliant at corresponding by email and phone and always prompt at getting back to us. Would recommend this plumber and have already used him again!

  Initially called Julian out to fix a leaky shower trap (he identified/isolated the problem same day, and fixed within 48hrs once part had arrived). Also then got him to fit new bath/basin taps and shower, and a replacement expansion vessel for my boiler. Old property with some 'fiddly' legacy fittings but he worked dilligently to get the job done to a high standard for a very reasonable price. Highly considerate, communicates well, arrives when he says he will, works hard and gets the job done. Will definitely be lining him up for more work as needed.
