• Efficient, quality, courteous builders we'd happily use again

  We used KCHS to renovate the upper floor of our two-bed victorian terrace (including electrics, plastering, demolition, wall building). Chike (project manager) was an excellent communicator and was very open to feedback. He coordinated an efficient timeline that was delivered as promised. With a toddler at home, workers were respectful, ensuring safety and minimal disruption. Overall they were amiable and delivered quality workmanship. Any issues were taken seriously and resolved quickly. We would highly recommend KCHS and look forward to working with them again in future.

• Chimney breast removal and kitchen renovation

  We hadn’t met Chike and his team before and we needed a chimney breast removed and prep for a new kitchen. It turned out Chike’s team was excellent and removed the chimney and installed the steel beam as per instructions from structural engineer with no issues. The job was signed off by Lewisham building regs. They also replaced and levelled the flooring throughout our kitchen living room, installed new electrics throughout and prepped the kitchen ready for the Ikea installers. Once installed they returned and connected the white goods and installed new switches. They did a fantastic job

• Upstairs toilet fitting

  It was a pleasure working with KCHS when they prepared a new space for a toilet and sink ensuite in our house. The project required several different aspects of building work, plumbing, plastering, and electrical work. Communication was clear, and it was always easy to contact Chike, who's an excellent team leader.

• Brick repointing and internal works

  I had a number of jobs done in the house, the brick repointing being the biggest job, and throughout the whole process, I worked with Chike to manage the work and the workers. Chike has been excellent with responding to any queries, issues and keeping me up to date on the progress of the work. I am happy to work with Chike for any future works.
