  Karl and his team were great from start to finish. He discussed our ideas and gave us his input and professional advice. He gave us a clear timeline of when each stage of our project would be completed and stuck to these times throughout. Arrived each day on time and with a smile, and kept us up to date on progress throughout. A good professional job completed and we are extremely happy with our new shower area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Karl and his team and would definitely use his services again.

  Moved into a new property shower was not working due to and extremely old pump, Karl replaced this giving multiple options and reasonable prices, fitting was quick and very happy with the work. Had a problem with the toilet which Karl advised on and repaired myself but Karl was on hand if I needed anything which he didn't have to do. Very happy with my first experience with CheckATrade would highly recommend K J Smith to anyone and use again if needed.

• Replacement shower

  Karl was excellent he contacted me within hours of the placement of the job and talked through options with me. He sourced a new shower and fitted it with minimum fuss doing so very quickly so I did not have to go without a shower for long. He is an extremely professional tradesmen and is an exceptionally nice and polite man answering my questions with patience and consideration. I would definitely use him again and is now in my trusted contacts if I need any plumbing work. His prices are very reasonable. Top man.

  Lovely Fella, Karl was very helpful and very polite. I had water leak damage through broken pipes, he was quick to fix one, and waited around for the tanks to fill to see if more leaks appeared, found two more pipes, and was quick at fixing them to. Good Job. Good Price. Genuine .
