  We were so pleased with the work carried out that we have had them return to our new property we have recently moved into. Each job carried out has been professional and completed timely. Lee who has been our point of contact has been nothing but punctual, polite, friendly and extremely accommodating. We have never felt pressured and our needs and expectations have always been listened to. Gaz and Matt were efficient, worked hard and were very polite and friendly. They also moved our furniture without issue. The work completed is faultless and worth every penny we spent. Very happy overall.

• Good service and good value

  Lee is an excellent communicator - prompt replies and updates. Company was flexible re: our needs. There were some challenges: 1) changing the fitting date as product out of stock. 2) needing an extra fitting date as one product still out of stock. 3) fitters accidentally tearing the wallpaper 4) toilet door re-hung and didn't close (it required a joiner). 5) lack of clarity on arrival time for second fitting 6) black marks on new carpet requiring return visit to sort out. Overall, new carpet looks very nice and seems good quality: for the price, and a small reduction, we were happy overall.

• Fitting hall, stairs, and landing carpet.

  They started early about 8 am. And stripped out the old carpets. This was a £50 extra. They worked most of the morning and finished around 11:40 am. Overall, the quality was excellent. HHowever, they didn’t clean the fluff from the carpets afterwards and there was quite a lot.

  L and G Flooring did an excellent job of supplying and fitting our new carpets . Lee made two home vists, firstly to measure up, provide samples and offer helpful advice and, subsequently, to check that one of our chosen carpets matched new paintwork and tiling. Gazz and Matt, the fitters, were similarly professional and skilled. A clearly experienced team, well-used to co-working in confined spaces, they completed the job methodically and to a very high standard. They also exercised great care in moving heavy furniture and in responding to our request to make a particular fitting adjustment.

• Lvt flooring

  Not happy with the gaps left around the edge. Was told at first it needed mastic at an extra cost to myself.Lee finally agreed to foot the bill an put me in touch with someone to do this for me. After sending pics of the gaps I was told it would need a thick bead of mastic. Not happy at all this will make my flooring look a mess. Left with this problem now. Either way my bathroom flooring hasn't been left water tight or fit for purpose. I believe it should have had thicker plywood fitted first to prevent the gaps.I was told at the point of measure you can't determine this. Not happy
